FAQ
Questions, answered honestly
Do I need to keep paper receipts?
HMRC accepts digital copies, as long as they're clear and complete, so a good photo does the job. Keep your records for at least 5 years after the 31 January filing deadline for that tax year.
What tax years are supported?
Any UK tax year, running 6 April to 5 April. Receipts are grouped by the date printed on them, so an old receipt lands in the right year automatically.
Can I export to my accountant?
Yes. Download a CSV of any period, with the date, vendor, amount and HMRC box on every line. It opens straight into Excel, Google Sheets or your accountant's software.
Is my data safe?
Your receipts are stored encrypted in a private store, and only your account can see them. Photos are sent to our AI provider only so it can read them, and we never sell your data.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
We'll ask whether you'd like to carry on with Standard or Lifetime. You don't give us a card for the trial, so nothing is ever charged automatically.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Standard is a rolling monthly or yearly plan with no contract. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can export your receipts whenever you like.
